Fantastic little hole in the wall! We initially overshot the entrance and had to turn around, but so so worth it! The woman who sat us was very friendly and gave good recommendations and explanations, and made sure we were well taken care of. And the food!! I went with three others and ended up trying everything: the stuffed sopraipilla was excellent, I had a platos mixtos, and Chile rellenos was great, it tasted like fresh home cooked food but better. We split the cinnamon sopaipilla for dessert and would highly recommend, the pastries were warm and fresh and a perfect finish.

Fantastic!! I was a bit weary that it was located inside the hotel building as a whole. Now that I’ve been, I can say that it doesn’t affect anything. The service was perfect. The food tasted great! Definitely will go back when I’m back in town. Hint: eat the Sopaipillas. They were fresh and tasted heavenly. 10/10 - Doesn’t seem busy and definitely deserves more visits.

If you are trying to find this place, just go like you would if you were going to stay at the Days Inn. They share a parking lot and the same building (but aren't actually connected internally). That said, this place is great. my wife and I were visiting Santa Fe and visited multiple times. In a city full of crazy busy restaurants, we never had a reservation but never had to wait to sit down and the food came 10 minutes or less after we ordered. I had the blue corn chicken enchiladas multiple times and it was great. And of course the sopaipillas were wonderful (and only $1 each if you want to take some home). Highly recommended!

I heard good things about this place from my parents and a friend of theirs who told them about it. I hadn't gone sooner due to life but I really wish I hadn't waited so long. The food was exceptional, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the red chile was phenomenal. Literally, never in my life have I had such fantastic red chile. I've tried almost every New Mexican restaurant from Albuquerque north and none can compare. The sopaipillas (the correct spelling, I'll fight anyone who disagrees) were perfectly cooked and complimented the meal perfectly. I had the posole with red, my wife had the enchiladas Xmas, and my daughter had the kids taco plate and it was all good. Absolutely recommend this place and we will be coming back again!

1 year ago, when I moved here, this was the restaurant that introduced me to New Mexican food. Since, I’ve tried multiple others, and this place is still my go to. The food is cheap and excellent. The service is good and friendly. The atmosphere is the right one. Their sopaipillas are wonderful. For some restaurant attached to a hotel, this place is incredibly good.

My family and I started with the guacamole & chips. It is fresh & delicious. I had the combination plate, it was a lot of food & enjoyed it all. The red chile was a little spicy for me & the green was more mild. Christmas is the way to go. My family enjoyed their dishes as well. We didn't order dessert, but the sopapillas were perfect to end our meal

Great food and excellent service. Will definitely start taking out of town visitors here for New Mexican food. Both the red and green chile were on point! While the interior of the restaurant doesn’t have frills or flair the food was worth the visit. Putting this is our regular rotation.

Great place. The service was excellent and so was the food. Party ordered a mix of items, including the combination plate, carne asada tacos (absolutely perfect), and the combo beef and bean burrito Christmas (photographed). Sopaipillas are massive and cooked perfectly. Red Chile had a good kick to it and the green was mild and flavorful. There’s ample parking. It’s connected to the hotel it looks like but didn’t have any issues with that. The vibe is cute and quaint, we went on a early dinner weeknight and the place was not busy which was actually pretty nice, but I suspect the place can get busy during the weekend and peak hours.

My husband enjoyed his beef taco plate. I “think” I had a beef taco, chicken enchilada and pork tamale slathered with green chile. Of course, we ended our meal with sopaipillas slathered with honey.

Definitely an impulse stop. Very happy we did. The food was really good. We had breakfast. It was a little spicy for me, nothing a little sour cream couldn’t fix. I’m a wimp. The flavor was good, so I ate the whole thing.
